Key Account Manager

Our client, a leading outsourcing company, is looking to recruit a Key Account Manager. In this role you will take responsibility for managing waste produced across a number of high profile sites in the UK. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Submitting and implementing strategic waste management plans in line with clients environmental and financial objectives
  • Preparation and roll out of cost saving innovations and service improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with current and future environmental regulations and legislation
  • Auditing both suppliers and clients sites
  • Ensure that contracts are run safely and efficiently to the required standard. Liaising with clients and monitor site operations
  • First point of contact for client queries on waste related activities
  • Checking data integrity and submitting monthly Management Information reports
  • Investigate incidents and accidents if necessary
  • Investigation of client complaints/escalations
  • Reviewing method statements and Risk Assessments as necessary
  • Management of site based personnel
